Summary from the posting
1 big thing: Axios is a media organization dedicated to providing trustworthy, award-winning news in an audience-first format. We're hiring reporters to write for our newsdesk.
Why it matters: Reporting to our Head of News, the news writers will play a critical role as a 24/7 nerve center for the newsroom.
- We are after people with a “see it, write it” mentality who have a personal passion for news and a fast-twitch set of journalistic reflexes.
- This is a job for the news junkies who “monitor the situation” for fun and want to do it for a living.
- We operate at one cadence - do it right now - and are after people who marry a love of news with the thrill of being busy.
This is a short summary. The full description, requirements and the application form are on Axios's own career page.
