Legal Counsel, Commercial

A Juris Doctor or equivalent law degree, and membership in good standing with a Canadian provincial or US state bar

3 to 5 years of practice as a commercial transactional lawyer, gained at an established law firm with a strong commercial or technology practice, or as part of an in-house legal team at a mid-size or larger tech company

Experience supporting sales teams by drafting and negotiating customer agreements such as MSAs, Order Forms, DPAs, NDAs, and Statements of Work

Experience reviewing and negotiating procurement agreements across a range of vendor types, such as software, professional services, sponsorships, physical goods and hospitality
