Hi, I'm James, and I help lead the Infrastructure & Enablement group at Jane. Platform Engineering and Developer Experience are career passions of mine, and both are areas critical to our group here. One of the many reasons I joined Jane was to help developers here spend more time helping our helpers and less time worrying about day-to-day development.
Jane's product development org grew from 250 to almost 500 staff in about two and a half years. Roughly 350 of us ship software every day leveraging GitHub, Jira, AWS, and more. We've rapidly outgrown the side-of-desk administration of these platforms that are key to our software and product delivery lifecycle.
